Order & Delivery Policy
Once an order is placed..
Each customer that places an order and their payment was accepted the customer will then receive a follow-up email confirmation of their order. Once the order is accepted and processed it then goes into fulfillment mode and the order is pulled from inventory which is then closely inspected. After passing inspection it is carefully packaged and stacked onto a pallet that gets tightly shrink-wrapped together and securely strapped down to the pallet. Most of the orders are shipped out later that same day or early next day. The average delivery time once the order is shipped usually takes 7-10 business days, sometimes sooner.
Placing and verifying your order..
Each customer is responsible for the accuracy and quantity of their own individual orders. Once an order is placed the customer will receive an email confirmation of their order followed by a tracking number a couple days after. This email confirmation is the customer’s order receipt displaying all of the items purchased. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify their order quantity and accuracy for each item purchased. It is important that the customer contacts us by phone with any discrepancies or requested changes to their orders within 2 hours of placing the order. After this time the order is in fulfillment mode and any changes to the order cannot be guaranteed.
Packaging & Unloading your order..
Each order that is placed immediately begins its fulfillment mode at 1 of our 5 nationwide warehouse locations to ensure a prompt delivery. During the fulfillment mode each processed order is then pulled from inventory and gets closely inspected before getting carefully packaged and stacked accordingly onto a pallet that then gets tightly shrink-wrapped together and securely strapped down to the pallet. Each box and carton is carefully packaged and stacked accordingly to help make each home delivery easier for our customers.
Order is processed and ready for delivery..
Each customer order that is processed will be assigned a specific tracking number for that order that gets sent via email to the customer confirming their shipment a couple days after the order left the warehouse. The shipment confirmation will provide contact information for the carrier/delivery company as well as the tracking number. It is our policy with the delivery company that they must call the customer prior to their expected delivery to schedule or notify the customer with the date and estimated time of delivery. On the day of delivery the time frame given by the delivery company is usually between a 2-4 hour window. All communication and information related to the customer’s shipment, delivery status and scheduling are to be facilitated with the carrier/delivery company.
Scheduling & Planning for a delivery..
All customer that plan to schedule a specific time or day for their flooring installation or schedule a contractor for it should not do so until they have received their order. The nationwide average for an expected delivery is 7 to 10 business days although some shipments can arrive sooner or later. We do our best to assist that every order leaving for shipment is delivered promptly and on time. The customer is provided with a tracking number and the delivery company’s contact information. The delivery company will call the customer to schedule their delivery date in advance. That will provide the customer with sufficient information regarding the delivery status and expected time of arrival. eHardwoodFlooring, Inc cannot be held responsible for any missed installation appointments, schedules or inconveniences due to an earlier or later than expected arrival date and time. We strongly recommend that when scheduling contractors or planning a day for installation the customer should wait until they have received their shipment and arrived on location, only then should the customer schedule or plan a day for the installation.
