Details
(All moldings are custom made to match flooring.) Use a Reducer when one floor is slightly higher or lower than another floor that it is transitioning into like carpet, tile, vinyl, masonry (fireplaces), sliding door tracks, and other exterior door/toe jambs. An example where a reducer is commonly used is when the living room floor meets a slightly higher kitchen floor and using a reducer will help make for a smoother floor transition in height difference.
